How to install an Active Balun with CAT5 Video

This video demonstrates how to install an agile video balun with CAT-five cable to transmit CCTV camera video up to 5000 feet.

This video demonstrates how to install active video baluns with Cat5 cable for CCTV video manual. The AVB1 active balun organisation will be used in this demonstration.

On the left we have the transmitter side of the balun system. A unmarried twisted pair from a Cat-v is already connected to the terminal block of the device.

The last block conveniently detaches from the transmitter allowing the installer to adhere the cable more hands. In addition to the ii connections used for video, there is a third connection for grounding the device.

When the ground terminal is properly grounded, the balun also provides lightning and ability surge protection. A DC power supply is included and connects as seen here. A brusk BNC jumper cable is used to connect the CCTV camera to the input of the trasmitting balun.
